Secure and Spacious Campus

Each of our five classrooms feed into the communal hall, where a whole other world of learning takes place. We have two outside play areas in our established gardens.

The principal, teachers, assistants and staff are so accommodating and welcoming to both parents and children and it is easy to address any queries or questions about my children’s day to day learning. I’m very impressed by the calm atmosphere and the gentleness of the staff, they care so much about the children, there is not a doubt in my mind that this is the best setting for my children to be educated in and cared for.

for the Love of Books

When we can’t bring our students to the world, we bring the world to them through age-appropriate books and reading groups. Our expansive library introduces children to characters, worlds, and adventures beyond their wildest imaginations—and some that aren’t so far away.

We provide a safe environment for learning.

Access to the school

We control access to our school through two different vehicle gates. Parents and visitors enter the school via the main gate, where they are greeted by Lucky, our security officer. All vehicles exit via the top gate, which is manned by our maintenance assistant, Shepard. We open the top gate during the pick-up window to improve the flow of traffic.

Emergency Planning

Mina Lopato is linked to two excellent security companies. We practice evacuation and invacuation procedures with all our children. In the case of an emergency we have a very quick link with Community Security Organisation (CSO), who visit us regularly to monitor our security measures.

In the case of a medical emergency, parents will be informed immediately. If necessary, if a parent is not contactable, the child will be taken to the Milpark Emergency Clinic by CSO or the Jewish Community Service, Hatzolah Emergency.

The Mina Lopato Gardens: Room to Grow

Throughout the school year, we plant and tend to our vegetable garden.

Children learn to care for the plants, much as they learn to care for themselves and each other. Each class is responsible for watering, weeding, and harvesting the vegetables, which are later eaten as part of the school meals.
